What are the Pre-qualification prior to purchasing a SHARP Cloud Smarthome System?

  1. A stable internet connection
  2. A Wi-Fi router with LAN ports for physical connection
  3. AC Power Outlets for the OPU & Cameras for easy installation
  4. A smartphone to install the Sharp Security application (Android/iOS)

If I require professional installation services, what are the charges?

Third party installers are available with the charges guideline as below:

Any additional monthly maintenance or commitment charges?

How many HD IP cameras can be added per OPU (OverCloud Processing Unit)?

We recommend up to 6 HD IP cameras per OPU as a practical limit. If you need more cameras, we suggest you purchase another OPU (Note: Bandwidth requirement : 1 IP Camera- 800kbps)

How many sensors can be added per OPU (OverCloud Processing Unit)?

User can add up to 70 sensors per OPU*

How many OPU (OverCloud Processing Unit) can I add on the Sharp Security application?

We do not limit on the number of OPUs you can add on the Sharp Security application so that you are able to monitor as many locations as you prefer

How many authorized users can be added in the Authorize/Family users category?

5 authorized users only* under Premium Plan and 1 authorized user under Basic Plan

How many emergency contact can be added in the emergency contact tab?

5 emergency contacts only* under Premium Plan

If the sensors run out of battery, will it notify the users?

Yes. Owner will receive low battery notification

If the sensors are removed, will the alarm be trigger and notify the users?

When someone removes the sensors or opens the casing, it will send the notification to users saying that the device detachment is detected

How long can the battery last to support the sensors/siren?

The battery has an average normal lifespan of 1 year based on the sensors/siren being triggered twice a day

If I lose my smartphone, what should I do

We suggest you change your password, either on another smartphone with our app installed. You would need to sign in to your account and change your password. You can also contact us to disable your account.

If I forgot my password, what are the steps to retrieve my password?

The user can click on the “Forgot Password” on the login page of application and the system will send an email to the user on the password reset.

How can I be certain other people are not stealing my identity on the cloud?

There are two levels of security mechanisms are used. The first level is password protection which encrypted in the system. Secondly is all the data transmitted, including videos, images and account information, bank-level AES data encryption is used.
